Suspected thugs broke into the offices of the Vihiga County Commissioner and made off with valuables on Tuesday night.
The thieves carried away computers that stored important information, county officials said.
According to the Star, the thugs accessed four offices after opening the door using convenient keys and stole from the National Lands Commission’s office three desktops and three monitors.
Police said they proceeded to the County Government of Vihiga Office of Public Participation and took a desktop monitor. They picked up two desktops, two monitors, and internet routers from the Office of the National Council for Persons Living with Disabilities.
At the office of the National Registration of Persons, they made do with four desktops and four monitors.
Police said they have launched investigations into the matter to determine the motive of the thugs.
