Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka has announced changes in his cabinet that take effect immediately.
The changes, made public through a press release, follow the dismissal of four chief officers in August for gross misconduct.
The four were Dr. Chrispinus Nyongesa (County Secretary Office), Mr. Isaac Aruput Juma (Agriculture Department), Mr. Abidan Kapchanga (Public Service Department), and Mr. Maurice Marango (Roads Department).
In the changes, Robert Simiyu will still serve in the Agriculture Department but will assume the role of Chief Officer Finance in acting capacity.
Dinah Naswa Makokha has been moved from the Finance Department to the Economic and Planning Department, while Edward Makhandia, who was serving in the Economic Planning Department and Roads and Public Works Department in acting capacity, has been moved to the Livestock and Fisheries Department.
Evelyne Teresa Wekesa will remain in the Public Service and Administration Department and serve as a Chief Officer in the Department of Roads and Public Works in acting capacity.
