A man from Matungu in Kakamega County sustained serious injuries after his Ugandan wife allegedly poured boiling water on his genitals for buying his first wife a television set.
The suspect, who is the second wife and a mother of five, has been abusing her husband by sometimes locking him in their house at the Ogalo Trading Centre, where the incident happened
“We have been working with the woman for years at this trading center, and we thought she was a genuinely good person, but she has been having arguments with her husband in public,” an eyewitness told the media.
Residents chased the woman back to Uganda following the shocking incident.
“This woman should stay in Uganda or find another place to sell her products because she is no longer welcomed here,” the eyewitness added.
