Ford Kenya youths want DP Ruto to back Musalia for presidency

Ford Kenya party youths drawn from Trans Nzoia county have challenged the Deputy President Dr William Ruto to sacrifice and support Amani National Congress Party (ANC) leader, Musalia Mudavadi for Presidency come August 9, 2022.

Speaking to Western Kenya Times at Milimani in Kitale town, youths led by Aggrey Nalianya defended the ANC, FK and UDA coalitions saying it was the right time for Western leaders to be in the next government.

The youths stated that the best way to accomplish this was by joining the coalition force to enable them clinch into power come the election time (August 9, 2022).

“We are happy we got friends who will propel our ambitions to state house. Don’t remain behind, let us join hands and vote them in, in August’’ said Nalianya.

Denis Siambi a politician and Joseph Masta, said the time for political conmanship in Western Kenya that includes Trans Nzoia is over and it’s time for the Luhya Community to support their own son, Musalia Mudavadi as the 5th President of the Republic of Kenya.

The duo accused COTU boss, Francis Atwoli for misleading the community in every general election terming him as an enemy of the Mulembe nation.

“Mr Atwoli has no wisdom. How can you run away from supporting your own? We know he is against the earthquake and we want to tell him to respect his age and lead by example and stop being used by Azimio la Umoja” stated Siambi.

Siambi accused the enemies of Mulembe nation defending the decision that was made on Sunday 23 by Amani National Congress Party leader, Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya, Moses Masika Wetangula among other parties that agreed to work with William Ruto.

Siambi said the Wiper Party leader Stephen Kalonzo and KANU Gideon Moi were spies in the OKA. He also asserted that the new alliance that was like an earthquake smoked out the duo party leaders from the Sunday Bomas of Kenya meeting.

“The only two candidates who have identified the economy to bring Kenya back to its glory are ANC and UDA,” he said.

Deputy President William Ruto promised to work with other like-minded parties that want to walk this journey and bring Kenyans together. The new alliance is expected to begin its rallies in Nakuru on Wednesday, Western Kenya on Friday and finish with Central on Saturday.

A political analyst, Denis Wakoli Wasike says the term sacrifice was a strong term in politics used by DP Ruto. He says it will not be a surprise for Ruto to step down for Musalia adding that in the coming few months new political surprises will emerge and Musalia might be the flag bearer to propel the new alliance.
