Sam Oduor, the editor-in-chief of Western Kenya Times, is overjoyed after his sister, Flora Awinja, achieved an impressive B+ at Butere Girls High in the recently announced KCSE 2023 results.
Flora Awinja, 17, showcased her academic prowess with outstanding results—a straight A in Biology, an A- in Christian Religious Education (CRE), and impressive B+ grades in Chemistry, History and Government, Agriculture, and Kiswahili.
She secured a solid B in English.

Flora harbors ambitions of pursuing a career in medicine and has set her sights on the University of Nairobi for her higher education journey.
