Choffuri offers Bungoma Goliath opportunity on one condition

Isaac Otesa, popularly known as Bungoma Goliath, has found a source of hope in popular Luhya comedian Choffuri, who has stepped forward to assist him during a challenging time.

Otesa recently made headlines after attending the Obinna Live show in Nairobi, where he shared his struggles with host Oga Obinna. He revealed that he was unemployed and lacked a stable place to stay, leaving him stranded in the streets of the capital.

The tall man said the friend he had been staying with was visited by his girlfriend, forcing him to move out.

Choffuri has proposed relocating Otesa to Bungoma, where he plans to sponsor his driving school training to help him obtain a valid driver’s license. The goal, according to Choffuri, is to equip Otesa with practical skills that could open doors to sustainable employment.

“I believe he can thrive if he learns to drive. I can help him secure a job here in Bungoma, where life is more manageable for him,” Choffuri stated in a post on his Facebook page.

Choffuri explained that the harsh conditions in Nairobi might hinder Otesa’s ability to recover and improve his circumstances, emphasizing the importance of creating a stable environment for him in Bungoma, his home place.

In addition to driving, Choffuri highlighted Otesa’s potential as a scriptwriter, particularly in the vernacular content space. Otesa’s fluency in the Bukusu language, Choffuri noted, could be a valuable asset in creating culturally relevant content for local audiences.

“I believe in him as a scriptwriter. He has the talent to succeed and make money, especially in vernacular productions,” Choffuri said.
