A tragic accident on the Webuye-Malaba Highway in Bungoma County has claimed the lives of two passengers, leaving seven others injured.

Preliminary reports indicate that the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll into a ditch. Witnesses at the scene reported that the impact was severe, smashing the vehicle’s windscreen and damaging its doors.
Residents of Misanga rushed to the scene in an effort to rescue those trapped inside the wreckage. Emergency responders quickly arrived and transported the injured passengers to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident, urging PSV operators to observe road safety measures to prevent further tragedies.
