At least 35 MCAs from the Bungoma County Assembly have given a hand of support to Senate Speaker Ken Lusaka who is bidding for the gubernatorial position of the county.
The MCAs, led by Joseph Juma Nyongesa, attacked the current regime. They called it out for underperformance and spoke of the need to bring back the county’s lost glory.
Nyongesa and his colleagues are now planning to create awareness in all the wards, campaigning for Speaker Lusaka with a manifestation of him completing all the stalled projects for the citizens and urging them to no longer tolerate intimidation.
Despite the fact that Speaker Ken Lusaka has not disclosed which political party he intends to use to advance to the gubernatorial position in the upcoming general elections, his close relationship with Moses Wetangula suggests that he is a member of the Ford Kenya.
