Grief has enveloped Malaha Village in Bungoma County after two people died after being struck by lightning.
In the sad turn of events, a six-month-old baby miraculously survived the strike.
The two, one a 24-year-old and the other a 13-year-old, were taking shelter at the house of their elder brother after coming from a posho mill.
The lightning hit the main house before the kitchen where the two were taking shelter and killed them.
According to the family, this is the second time the incident is happening in the homestead after a similar one in 2018 that claimed one.
Bodies of the deceased have been taken to Webuye Mortuary.
