Bungoma man rolls on the ground at Parliament, claims Kibaki is his grandfather

The man from Bungoma caused a scene at Parliament entrance.

Drama unfolded at the National Assembly entrance after a middle-aged man from Bungoma sensationally claimed that the late President Mwai Kibaki is his grandfather.

The man, identified as Allan Makana who had gone to view the body of the later President, expressed remorse for the passing on of his ‘grandfather’.

In a video going viral, the man sorbed and demanded that police allow him to view the body of Kibaki.

“I am a distant child of Kibaki, please. People used to call me Kibaki from where I live and I have been living with that mentality that I am the distant grandchild of late president Mwai Kibaki.

“He is my president he gave me free education, give me time and opportunity to view his body and say goodbye to him.

“Look at me, do I resemble Kibaki surely?” The man asked, of which the people who were around agreed he somehow resembles the late President.

The man said he couldn’t raise the claims while Kibaki was alive because people did not believe him.

The man was then allowed to view the body of the late President who will be buried on Saturday April 30 Othaya home in his Nyeri County.

The public has been allowed to view his body from Monday April, 25 to Thrusday April, 27.
