ODM parliamentary aspirant for Sirisia involved in a road accident

The accident occurred this evening.

An aspiring member of parliament for Sirisia Constituency in Bungoma County has survived a road accident that occurred this evening along the Sirisia-Mayanja road.

Moses Nandawale, who is vying for the seat under the ODM party ticket, has been confirmed safe from the carnage that occurred near Bisunu Police Station at 6.40 PM. He is being attended to in the nearest health center.

“He and other occupants of the vehicle are seeking medical attention to treat any injuries sustained during the accident,” said Victor Kerre, the aspirant’s personal assistant.

The PA did not reveal the cause of the accident and the aspirant wrote on his Facebook page that he was “involved in a road accident at Bisunu in Sirisia Constituency”.

Nandawale is a confidant of COTU boss Francis Atwoli and a diehard of the Jubilee Party which is part of the Azimio la Umoja movement.

Recently, Azimio la Umoja presidential flagbearer Raila Odinga attended the burial of his mother accompanied by Atwoli.
