Tree nursery worker found dead in Lugari Forest, private parts injured

The body of a man was found dumped inside Lugari Forest, where he works, with his private body parts injured on Friday. 

The body of the man, Sosness Kidagwa, was discovered by herdsmen inside the forest, some 20 meters away from where his bicycle and working tools were.

Lugari Sub-County Police Commander, Bernard Ngungu, told West FM that Mr. Kidagwa disappeared after he left home for work on Thursday before his body was found lying on the floor of the forest.

The police boss said the body had visible injuries on the mouth and private parts, an indication that he was killed.

“The body had visible injuries on the mouth and swollen private parts, indicating someone might have pulled them,” Mr. Ngungu said.

The body was taken to the Kimbilio mortuary in the neighboring Uasin Gishu County for a postmortem as investigations commence.
