Aspiring MPs cleared to vie in Trans Nzoia.

Barely two months before the general elections, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has cleared several candidates to vie in the August 9 general election.

Constituencies in Trans Nzoia are among the most competitive seats being eyed by several aspirants.

Saboti Constituency

Among the most popular aspirants in Saboti is the incumbent Caleb Amisi, who is vying on the ODM ticket.

Joseph Pepela, Pius Gumo and Michael Mbito are the other aspirants.

Endebess Constituency

MP David Wafula Lazaro, Dr. Robert Pukose, Pius Gumo, Chamii Jamii Simiyu, Aineah Masinde and Alwin Sasia are the contestants in Endebess.

Kwanza Constituency

Former The Star Newspaper journalist Nicholas Wamalwa (Jubilee) was cleared to run in the Kwanza Constituency.

Wamalwa will face incumbent MP Ferdinand Wanyonyi (FK), Dr. David Lwangale and ODM candidate Reuben Chebai.

Aspirants in Cherangany Constituency

In Cherangany Constituency, Ben Milimo (FK) has been cleared and will be facing incumbent MP Joshua Kuttuny, Wesily Korir and DAP-K candidate Patrick Simiyu.

Aspirants in Kiminini Constituency

Kiminini will see a tough battle between Joseph Mutunga, Maurice Bisau and David Kisaka.
