ODM parliamentary candidate for Lugari Ward, Nabii Daraja Nabwera, has thanked Lugari MP Ayub Savula for accepting his agenda.
Mr. Daraja expressed satisfaction for receiving a baton from the outgoing MP in a speech during the Azimio la Umoja rally in Likuyani and Lugari, led by Kakamega County Governor Wycliffe Oparanya.
Nabii, who is trying a third stab at the seat for the third time after losing in the 2013 and 2017 general elections, promised to initiate the needed change if he gets the support of the Lugari people.
Among leaders present at the rally were Bryan Lishenga, who is vying for the Kakamega senatorial seat under the ODM ticket, and Kakamega women rep Elsie Muhanda.
