A 25-year-old woman suspected to have been last seen with Bungoma Women Rep office manager was arrested yesterday by detectives.
Moses Nabibia, who was a personal assistant attached to the office of Mrs. Catherine Wambilianga and Ford-Kenya party representative in Bungoma County, was found dead early on Thursday morning in one of the rooms in a lodging room in Misikhu, a small town in Bungoma County.
His wife, Joseline Nabibia, revealed to detectives that he had left home to work on Wednesday but never came back. His phone was also switched off.
Webuye East police boss, Martha Ng’etich, said the woman who was last seen with Mr. Nabibia is in police custody helping with investigations.
Mrs. Catherine Wambilianga eulogized the shocking demise of her assistant.
“He was a great son of the soil and a committed servant to the people. He devoted his lifetime for service that earned him immortal reputation,” she said in a post on Facebook.
