Lugari: Form One student dies after being hit by an overspeeding truck

Residents from Elmos Village in Mwamba, Lugari, are mourning the death of a Form One student who was knocked to death by an overspeeding truck.

The student, who studies at Forestall Secondary School, was on his way to school on Monday morning before the truck ran into him at Mwamba Market.

The truck driver sped off after the incident.

“It not the first time such an incident has happened in the area. Within one week, two people have died,” a witness said.

The body of the deceased was taken to Kimbilio Mortuary in Uasin Gishu County.
