Lugari’s elected Member of the National Assembly, Nabii Nabwera, today held a thanksgiving ceremony at his home in Mbagara Village in Mautuma Ward.
The function, which was graced by members of the clergy, brought together three newly elected MCAs in the constituency โ Charles Anyona of Mautuma Ward, Bernard Mulama of Lumakanda Ward and Dan Mukhwami of Lwandeti Ward.
Mr. Nabwera assured residents that he would work with all the six elected MCAs to better the lives of Lugari people as promised in their campaigns.
He also took the opportunity to drum up support for Kakamega gubernatorial candidates on the ODM ticket, Fernandes Barasa and his running mate, outgoing Lugari MP Ayub Savula.
“It is important to elect the BaraSavula team as they are best placed to manage billions of shillings for Kakamega County. Malala is a young leader who cannot manage the county resources,” he said.
