Bumula: Student stabs father to death for demanding end-term report form

Residents of Kibachenje Village in Bumula Sub-county, Bungoma County, have been left in awe after a Form One student stabbed his father to death for demanding his end-term report form.

Bumula OCPD Stephen Obara has confirmed that the 15-year-old student at Lumboka Secondary School fled after stabbing his father several times in the chest on Sunday evening.

“He is at large, our officers are after him. He can run but can’t hide, we are camping in every village until he is apprehended and charged in court with murder,” the OCPD said.

Mr. Obara said the deceased, Samuel Muchuma (41), had asked for his son’s report form to assess his performance but the son turned against him.
