Barasa tramples on Malala in Likuyani Sub-county

A projection on results from polling stations puts Barasa ahead of Malala.

Fernandes Barasa of ODM has scooped a sure win against his closest opponent, Cleophas Malala of ANC, in Likuyani Constituency in provisional results from the just concluded Kakamega County gubernatorial by-election.

In provisional results tallied by a reliable source and seen by the Western Kenya Times, Barasa has won in the constituency with 18,197 votes against Malala’s 8,835 votes.

The source left out the five other candidates.
