Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi is set to occupy two floors in the Office of the President along Harambee Avenue as he takes over his new mandate as Prime Cabinet Secretary.
This comes as a result of a post-election agreement between parties forming the Kenya Kwanza alliance to offer 30% of government to the Mulembe community in case the support of Musalia Mudavadi and his Ford-Kenya counterpart Moses Wetangula would enable William Ruto to become president.
Four weeks ago, the ANC party nominated Musalia Mudavadi to fill in the position of Prime CS.
In his new mandate as a powerful CS and ranking third in influence after the Deputy President, Mudavadi will have an expansive responsibility of chairing and coordinating government development programs and projects.
President William Ruto is expected to announce his cabinet and officiate Mudavadi’s position in a few days to come.
