The body of a yet-to-be-identified man has been retrieved from River Nzoia in Lwandeti in Matete Sub-county.
According to a report by the Matete Police Station, the body of the man was seen floating in River Nzoia at around 7.50 pm last evening before it was retrieved by the police with the help of residents.
The body had no physical injuries but had started decomposing, the report further said.
It was removed from the scene and taken to the Webuye Hospital Mortuary for identification and postmortem.
