Emmanuel Situma re-elected as Bungoma County Assembly Speaker

Emmanuel Situma has been re-elected as the Bungoma County Assembly Speaker after defeating former Khalaba Ward MCA Majimbo Okumu after garnering 37 votes against 24 in the election held today.

The hotly contested race attracted four candidates, including Phylis Wangwe and Noel Makeni 

Soysambu/Mitua Ward MCA Stephen Wafula Wamalwa was elected Deputy Speaker after flooring Kaptama Ward MCA Francis Chemion.
