Lawyer James Namatsi elected Kakamega County Assembly Speaker

Morris Indakwa, who was defending the seat, garnered 3 votes.

Lawyer James Wanzala Namatsi has been elected Kakamega County Assembly Speaker after garnering 60 votes defeating his closest opponent Hon. Kennedy Kilwake, the immediate former majority leader, received 26 votes.

Hon. Morris Indakwa Buluma, who was defending the seat after serving for two consecutive terms, received 3 votes.
