Hundreds of mourners have turned up to bid farewell to Zachariah Sereta Simiyu, the man from Lugari who died after the car he was repairing crushed on him has been laid to rest in his home in Mlimani Village, Mautuma Ward.
Zachariah, 25, who used to work at Embakasi in Nairobi as a mechanic, was at work before part of the vehicle he was repairing fell off and crushed his neck and was pronounced dead after he was rushed to Mama Lucy Hospital by friends one weeks ago.
His body would later be transferred to Kimbilio Mortuary in the neighboring Uasin Gishu County ahead of his burial.
Mourners who had a chance to speak heaved praise at him as a man who harbored good qualities of humility, kindness, courage and hardwork.
