Liverpool woes deepen after Forest defeat

The Reds are having a tough season since Sadio Mane left for Bayern Munich.

Liverpool FC has suffered a scathing defeat coming days after reviving hopes of climbing the EPL table just after thrashing Man-City last weekend 1-0.

The Reds succumbed to a notorious Nottingham Forest who held them to a 0-0 draw in the first half and a painful 1-0 beating in the second half this evening.

Forest’s only goal was delivered by Taiwa Awoniyi at the 55th minute and made it difficult for Liverpool strikers to salvage a point.

Liverpool now remains at position 7 with 16 points while Arsenal leads the table with 27 points followed by Man-City with 26 points.

All eyes are now on a fiery encounter between Chelsea FC and Manchester United this evening.
