Lawyer Miguna Miguna has turned down a radio interview with Standard Group’s Spice FM after he was asked to sign an indemnity form.
The controversial lawyer took to his social media accounts to blast the media house and its owners of trying to set him up by forcing him to sign a document before he would appear in the show that was scheduled for this morning.
The form required that Miguna Miguna bears responsibilty of his own utterances and distance the company from any liability.
“I’ve appeared on TV and radio for the past 30 years but not once has a media house – including @StandardKenya and @KTNNewsKE – asked me to sign a blanket indemnity form,” he tweeted.
Miguna, who flied back to the country on Thursday after about 5 years in exile, is known for his controversial remarks and verbal slur, a notable event being in 2016 at KTN News in an interview with Jeff Koinange JKLive which was brought down off air after the lawyer allegedly defamed the now Nairobi Women Rep Esther Passaris.
