Lugari MP Nabii Nabwera has donated a fat bull to be slaughtered at Kakamega Governor Fernandes Barasa’s mother funeral.
Nabwera’s personal assistant, Rajab Mukolwe, handed over the bull to Mr. Barasa at his home as a show of goodwill in condoling with the family of the governor.
“It is a sad moment for Governor Barasa and his family, and on behalf of Nabii Nabwera, we say pole sana and we’re together in this,” Mr. Mukolwe said.
The Governor expressed joy upon receiving the bull and promised to work in collaboration with Nabii to foster development for the people of Lugari.
“This is pure friendship, we are looking forward to changing living standards of our people and it is through team work that we will achieve this,” Barasa said.
The Governor’s mother, Mama Philomena Muterwa, will be laid to rest on Monday October 31st, 2022, at her residential home in Mumias. She passed away on Thursday last week.
