Lugari MP Ayub Savula ditches OKA for Azimio la Umoja

ANC deputy party leader and Lugari MP, Ayub Savula, has officially ditched the One Kenya Alliance for Raila Odinga’s Azimio la Umoja movement.

Savula had hinted on Thursday that it is possible for Musalia Mudavadi’s Amani National Congress (ANC) to join Azimio la Umoja.

“I can’t say he (Musalia) is joining Azimio (la Umoja) or not. Anything is possible but working with Ruto is a no,” he said outside Parliament on Wednesday.

“We will have an NDC (National Delegates Conference) on January 15. We’ll endorse Mudavadi as the party’s flag bearer and give him mandate to look for a coalition with other like-minded leaders,” the vocal ANC MP said.
