Thieves broke into the ECDE Office of Macho Primary School in Mautuma Ward, Lugari Constituency, and made away with two bags of maize and sugar on Saturday night.
Confirming the incident, Inspector Fredrick Okweri of Panpaper Police Station said investigations are underway to catch the culprits.
“We have recorded the statement in our OB Book and investigation is in progress. Nobody has been arrested so far,” he stated.
Cases of theft of food are on the rise in the area, including thieves stealing maize and other produce in farms.
