Lugari Member of Parliament Nabii Nabwera this morning officially opened Sosiani Primary School situated in Mwamba area, Lumakanda Ward, that was built through the NG-CDF.
The school will now start receiving pupils as schools open on January 23 in the New Year.
“Opening Sosiani Primary School is a a relief to pupils who walk long distances to get to the nearest school. It will also reduce congestion in the neighboring schools,” Mr. Nabwera said.
The MP seized the opportunity to urge Lugarians to know the significance of education and assured them full support from his administration.
Lumakanda Ward Member of County Assembly hon Benard Mulama Bokanda, who was also present, assured him his support.
Other leaders who were present were constituency Manager Rajab Mukolwe and Lugari Deputy County Commissioner Moses Gicharu.
