The Kakamega County Governor’s Football Bonanza kicked off today as 32 teams lock homes to produce the winner who will be determined in the finals to be played on January 1, 2023 at the Mumias Sports Complex.

Sixteen men’s teams now proceed to the round of 16 as their as their ladies counterparts lock horns for the first and runners up positions.
The tournament features both men and women soccer teams across the county.
The winner from the men’s teams will walk away with Sh500,000 as the second placed team bags Sh300,000, third Sh250,000 and the fourth place Sh100,000..
Champions of the girls’ soccer will bag cash prize worth Sh150,000 as the runners up get cash prize amounting to Sh100,000.
