Lugari family asks for help to trace 11-year-old boy who went missing 2 weeks ago

The boy had gone to herd the family’s goats but never returned.

The family of an 11-year-old boy from Lunyito Village in Lugari Sub-county is asking for help to trace his whereabouts after going missing on December 22, 2022.

The boy, Bravine Mwechelesi, a Grade Four pupil at Sirende Primary School in Lunyito, went missing after going to herd their goats and never returned home according to his sister, Leah Chevombe.

The goats traced their way back home in the evening as was the norm but without the company, Leah said.

She added that the boy was last seen wearing a short with green and red flowers, a t-shirt with white and black stripes, blue crocks and a jacket.

Leah said the family believes the boy decided to vanish after he was scolded by his step-brother for returning home late with the goats.

Anyone with knowledge of the whereabouts of the boy can reach the father, Michael Kunguni Mwechelesi, through the phone numbers 0705106854 and 0103397957.
