Trans Nzoia Falcon women’s football team players were evicted from a hotel at the Kitale Show Ground by club officials after losing 3-0 in their match against Vihiga Queens.
The players are said to have slept hungry on Friday and missed breakfast before the match on Saturday in which they suffered a humiliating defeat against the Queens in the Kenya Premier League match.
It is reported that seven players left the camp in search of food as others had to carry on the duty of facing the fierce Vihiga Queens.
In a video circulating online, the player’s belongings, including their beddings, are seen being thrown out as onlookers laugh and record videos.
Members of the public have called on Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya to take action against the rogue club officials.
