St. Mary’s Kibabii Boys High School in Kanduyi Constituency is giving Friends School Kamusinga Boys in Kimilili Constituency a run for its money after registering impressive results in the KCSE 2022.
The school emerged position two ahead of giants such as Lugulu Girls High School after garnering a mean of 8.93, just a few decimals behind Kamusinga Boys which topped the county with a 9.2.
The school produced 372 candidates with university entry grades. Two scored As, 26 A-, 48 B+, 88 B, 93 B-, 71 C+, 44 C, 10 C-, 4 D+ and 1 D.
Kamusinga, on the other hand, managed to get 477 university entries as 11 candidates scored As, 91 A-, 120 B+, 126 B, 69 B-, 40 C+, 13 C, 6 C-, and 1 D+.
A teacher at the school attributed the sterling results to the good working relationship between the principal, Nicodemus Ogeto, and teachers.
When the principal took charge of the school three years ago, the teacher said, he had the daunting task of restoring the school to its former standards through revamping the academic system.
