Nairobi County boss Johnson Sakaja will pay a full scholarship for a student who approached him crying while he was addressing hundreds of mourners in Busia County.
Carlos Barasa, who scored 354 marks in the KCPE 2022, opened up to Sakaja during the burial service of Mzee Magoba’s funeral on Saturday about his inability to pay secondary school fees.
“Barasa had no hope; he came to me crying, and he will go far. I will pay for his secondary school fees and university fees and make sure his dream is fulfilled,” Sakaja said.
He concluded that his bravery would take him far.
