Lugari Member of the National Assembly Nabii Nabwera has promised to educate and build a house for a girl seen in a viral video dancing and singing praise for him.
The 9-year-old girl by the name Rebeccah Hildah went viral after composing a tune and dancing enthusiastically to the amusement of the area MP.
Speaking to the Western Kenya Times on Thursday, the little girl, a Grade Four pupil at Blue Bells Academy in Lugari Ward, said she wished to meet the MP and request him to educate her and buy her family a cow for them to get milk and earn a living.
The MP, speaking to the Western Kenya Times on phone, has headed to her plea and promised to grant her wish of securing a quality education.
“This is pure talent which needs to be well cultivated for the future. In my tenure, nobody will will be left behind. Lazima watoto wasome! (Kids must learn), ” he said, adding that he had already sent the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) team to intervene.
The former Kakamega Chief of Staff also said he would organize a private funds pool to build a decent house for Hildah’s family.
