A father in Rusinga area in Chekalini Ward, Lugari Sub-county, is asking for assistance to find his 18-year-old daughter who went missing 10 days ago.
Brenda Nanyama, a Form Three student at Friends Lukhokho Secondary School in Lwandeti Ward, disappeared from home on Thursday January 19, 2023 at around 10 a.m. without a trace.
His father Kenneth Katana Kaburu said him and his wife were away from home and had left the girl with her siblings only to find her missing later in the evening.

Brenda’s mother said she was last seen with a skirt with black, white and red spots and a reddish sweater.
“She speaks Kiswahili,” she added.
Their efforts to report the case to local administrators and security agencies have not borne fruit since no action has been taken. Neither have they given out a public notice on the matter.
“We have tried checking at her friends’ homes without success. We can’t trace her, and I am afraid something bad may have happened to her,” Mr. Katana told the Western Kenya Times.
The worried father is now appealing to anyone with information about his daughter’s whereabouts to report to the nearest police station or call him on 0713428043 or 0101549574.
