A man from a village in Butere in Kakamega County has set tongues wagging after he paid dowry in style.
The husband of Caren Nehru decided to impress his in-law’s after hiring three ‘semi-boeing’ Modern Coast buses to go and pay dowry for her better half.
The man intended to break the norm and tradition of other Kenyan men who hire high end cars and choppers to give their in-laws a special show.
Nehru and her husband got married in December 2021.
