The Bungoma High Court has today upheld the victory of Webuye West Member of Parliament, Dan Wanyama.
Justice William Musyoka, while delivering the ruling, said the petitioner in the case, Kelly Walubengo, did not produce concrete evidence that the election was marred with irregularities.

The court has fined the petitioner Sh15 million to pay the accused and first respondent, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
Kelly Walubengo, who narrowly lost the seat to incumbent Dan Wanyama of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA), had filed a petition to challenge MP Wanyama’s victory.
Walubengo contested on Cyrus Jirongo’s United Democratic Party (UDP).
