Bishop Ignatitus Wanjala of the Revival Prophetic Living Ministries is now urging President William Ruto to break his silence on his stand on the ongoing debate about the position of gay people in Kenyan society.
Bishop Wanjala condemned the Supreme Court for ruling in favor of the LGBTQ, insisting that it is immoral, satanic, and a threat to African culture and diversity.

“I was so shocked to learn that the Supreme Court has ruled in favor of gay movement rights. We want the head of state to come out clearly and respond to this international topic that has erupted with different opinions from leaders, faith-based organizations, social media, and the society,” Wanjala said in a press briefing in his office on Wednesday.
Bishop Wanjala applauded President Yoweri Museveni of neighboring Uganda for his firm stand against the strange tradition and asked Ruto to follow his example.
“We have leaders reacting over this LGBQT ruling; here in Kenya, we are waiting for Ruto to speak about it,” he said, adding that it is dangerous and ‘if allowed, will erode our youth’s behavior.’
