[PHOTOS] Driver hospitalized after truck overturned at Lugari Station

The driver of a truck ferrying sand to an unknown location has been rushed to Koromaiti Dispensary after his vehicle overturned on trying to overtake a motorbike at Lugari Station in Lugari Sub-county, Kakamega County this morning.

Protus Wamula, a resident of the market, told the Western Kenya Times that the driver did not sustain serious injuries and the motorcyclist drove away uninjured.

“The truck was overspeeding from the Franks direction while trying to overtake a motorbike when it lost control and veered into a ditch and overturned,” he said.

Currently, residents are flocking the scene to witness for themselves.
