The body of Juliana Bukachi, a woman from Bushienyi village in Butere Sub-County, Kakamega County, who went missing on March 16, 2023, has been found being devoured by dogs in a sugarcane plantation.
The body was discovered by neighbors who were working on the farm and spotted frenzied and ravenous dogs scrambling over her remains.
Juliana was allegedly murdered by her boyfriend, Alfred Owino, who then buried her body on the plantation in an attempt to conceal the heinous act.
Before she went missing, neighbors heard her screaming at her boyfriend’s place.
According to Tuko.co.ke, the deceased woman’s in-law, James Wanyama, said the suspect nonchalantly came and informed him of how he had punished her.
