The creative industry in Bungoma is mourning the death of a popular photographer and video director, Isa Paul, who died after he was hit by a motorbike in Bungoma town.
Paul, whose pieces of art flooded social media spaces from his fans and clients following his death, underwent a successful surgery after internal bleeding in the head forced him to be rushed to the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret on Tuesday.
Isa was fighting for his life before he succumbed last night at the hospital, despite efforts by friends and fans to contribute towards his medical bill.
“Brother and my best video director, I can’t believe you are gone, bro,” Humble M Music, his client, posted on his Facebook page.
His girlfriend, Vega Lucee, with whom they have a daughter, mourned him as her best friend who always ensured she was happy.
“Rest in peace, babe. My king, you gave me everything in life. You still remain the best ever. The love, the song, the happiness The sacrifice. Today marks the end of me and you physically, but I know you will watch us forever. I don’t know how to communicate with my daughter and explain. You were the best father,” she said.

“Isa Paul has been the best video director and producer in Western Kenya. He has produced for top artists like Steve Kay, Sokoto, Choffuri, and Micah Wanyenje. Today we report that the super talented video producer, editor, and musician is no more,” read a post on Bungoma Talents.
- From everyone at the Western Kenya Times, rest in peace Isa Paul, and way your daughter and her mother always experience the love and happiness you used to give them.
