A 62-year-old woman from Murang’a County and her 70-year-old husband have welcomed twin girls after years of waiting to become parents, in what their family has described as a miraculous answer to prayer.
The couple welcomed the newborns, named Wangari and Ng’endo, in a moment that has been celebrated by relatives and friends as a double blessing.
According to family announcements, Muthoni’s long-awaited pregnancy was attributed to an answer to prayer, with relatives drawing parallels between her journey and the biblical story of Hannah, who prayed for a child after years of waiting.
The family later hosted a thanksgiving service at CFF Kikuyu Church to celebrate the safe arrival of the twins, bringing together relatives and well-wishers for the special occasion.
Family members who attended the service shared the news publicly, describing the birth of the twin girls as a remarkable testimony and a “double blessing” for the couple.
The arrival of Wangari and Ng’endo marks a deeply significant moment for the family, coming after many years of waiting and prayers to become parents.
