St. Cecilia Girls Senior School, based in Mbagara Sub-Location, Mautuma Ward, Lugari Constituency, on Saturday held a special internal Mass for its 2026 KCSE candidates.
The 111 candidates, who have been branded “Elites of 2026,” received spiritual encouragement from Catholic priests, who urged them to remain focused, put God first, and balance their studies with adequate rest as they prepare for their final examinations.
The priests reminded the candidates that success requires discipline, faith, determination, and proper time management, cautioning them against overworking themselves at the expense of their health and well-being.
School Principal Salyne Nyongesa assured the candidates of her 100 percent support throughout the examination period and beyond, while wishing them success in their upcoming exams.
The school has set an ambitious target of achieving a mean score of 6.7 and above in this year’s examinations.
Also present were Lugari MP Nabii Nabwera, four MCA from the sub-county, as well as Mautuma Chief Pamela Davava. The leaders challenged the candidates to seize the opportunity before them and make their school, families, and community proud.
The 2026 KCSE examinations will start on October 19, 2026, and run until November 20, 2026.
