Isaac GM Andabwa, who is vying for the Lugari parliamentary seat for the first time under the DAP-K Party, has told off his competitors for playing petty politics.
Bro. Andabwa, a long-standing secretary general of the Kenya National Private Security Workers Union, said he is the only mature politician with the ability to transform Lugari Constituency based on his age (54), compared to his mostly younger competitors.
The politician dismissed claims that he is a project that cannot stand on its own. He insisted that he is an independent-minded leader who means good to the citizens of Lugari.
“I’m born here in Lugari and know all the boundaries. Mimi si project ya mtu, mimi ni project ya wana Lugari. Mimi siwezi kushikwa mkono ndio nipigiwe kura, mimi najisimamia,” he said at a funeral in Mautuma Ward.
He outlined some of the reasons why he is the best fit for outgoing Ayub Savula.
“I know the challenges facing women and the youth in Lugari, having worked in COTU and traveled in various places across the world,” he said.
