Academic giants Friends School Kamusinga have installed Paul Weloba as the new principal, taking over from Alex Maina, who retired late last year.
Mr. Weloba is a former student and teacher at the school.
The new principal also taught at Alliance High School, rising to the position of senior boarding master, and later transferred to Kakamega High School as the deputy principal.
Till last week, Weloba has been chief principal at Shikunga High School in Kakamega County.
In a related development, St. Peters Mumias Boys High School head Cosmas Nabongolo takes over St. Joseph Boys High School, replacing Godfrey Owuor, who secured a lucrative job at the County Government of Kakamega.
Chrispinus Owino from Cardinal Otunga Mosocho is the new principal of St.Peters Mumias Boys High School.
St. Antony Kitale Boys School principal Victor Makanda has been transferred to St. Marys Yala in Siaya County, while Mr. Mulati Chesebe from Tenwek High School takes over St. Antony Boys High School as the new principal.
Other schools expecting change in their top management are St. Cecilia Girls High School in Misikhu, Bungoma County, where Mrs. Beatrice Lyambila, who was the principal, retired late last year.
