President William Ruto has announced that he will convene a national prayer service for God to intervene in the drought and hunger situation at the Nyayo Stadium in Nairobi on February 14th.
The Head of State made this announcement during the interdenominational service on Sunday in Nakuru.
The prayers, which will be attended by religious leaders, will start at 8.00 am and end at 4:00 pm
“For those who will not be able to make it to Nyayo Stadium, have services anywhere and pray for the country,” he said, adding that government has set aside seeds and fertilizers for farming which needs rain.
“We need God in order to move forward,” he said.
