Six Bolivian soccer officials were suspended after adding 42 minutes to a professional football match in the national league.
The controversial decision by the referee saw Palmaflor defeat Blooming 3-2 on Monday, a match that would later be revised by the country’s refereeing commission.
The match occurred under a heavy downpour for 132 minutes in the city of Chapare.
Referee Julio Gutierrez added the time following a prolonged video review of Palmaflor’s second goal and an altercation resulting from two red cards for the visitors.
