Body of 30-year-old man found decomposing in his house in Panpaper

He disappeared on Saturday and his family has been searching for him.

Grief has struck Panpaper Village in Mautuma Ward of Lugari Sub-County, Kakamega County after the body of a man was found decomposing in his house.

Paul Peter Mwombe, 30, disappeared on Saturday and his family had been searching for him before his body was found locked in a room in his house.

His father, Charles Kasiti, told the Western Kenya Times that his son, who stays alone, had complained of a stomachache on Saturday while with friends.

He added that his nose was found bleeding but the body did not bear any signs of injury.

His relative Ilam Soita is pleading for help to give Mr. Mwombe a decent send-off.

The body of the deceased has been taken to Kimbilio Mortuary by officers from Turbo Police Station as investigations commence.
